A forest featuring a white oak tree hosting a mother & baby racoon. A deer grazes on ferns while a monarch floats by. A soaring hawk sets its sights on a wood frog as a fox watches from the edge of the woods.

Bottle caps are not recyclable. We reused 3,000 colorful plastic caps, collected from the community, to inspire others to care for our earth. The elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water emerge out of the recycling symbol. Native species featured are are black eyed-Susan, Northern Red Oak, Brook Trout, & Butterfly Pea.
Gate to Virginia and Israel
8'x12', Gesher Jewish Day School, Fairfax, Virginia

Look through a gate of Jerusalem stone painted by the students to a serene swamp, with a red fox, old world swallowtail butterfly, and barn owl living among swamp cypress and pickerelweed. All species in this mural are native to BOTH Virginia and Israel.
World of Hope

A whimsical mountain scene featuring a pomegranate tree and doves of peace. The artists facilitated the community creation of this mural for the preschool playground.
Alexandria Natives

Native plants, cardinal, and swallowtail butterfly with bold design representing the Potomac River, and Potomac Creek Ware pottery. Indigenous people created Potomac Creek Pottery between c.1260 CE and the 17th century by pressing rope into wet clay pots. Shards have been located in Maryland and Virginia, including in Alexandria.
Boston's 2013 "Play Me, I’m Yours" was part of the international movement where more than 1,500 pianos have been installed in 50 cities across the globe so far. My piano, "Sunny," was placed in the Harvard Medical School quad. The event was produced by Celebrity Series of Boston.
